A good hotel. In the village, it seemed like an oasis of comfort! My family and I traveled a long way to the village to spend the night before visiting the Zabaikalsky National Park. We'd booked a private house from a local resident (a "superhost" from Sutochno.ru). We saw the conditions and decided to leave due to hygiene concerns. We were very upset about where to spend the night. We saw the neat brick hotel "Baikalsky Briz" by the pier and walked in, tired and at a loss. The staff, despite being busy with a large tour group, still welcomed us very politely and even thoughtfully, and accommodated us. We'd like to point out and show in the photos that the place is clean. There's a well-maintained gated area with a playground, a pier, a sauna, a large swimming pool, and barbecue huts. Our car was also parked in the gated area. Meals are available at the hotel – the chef is excellent. Or you can cook for yourself, just like in a hostel (access to a fully equipped kitchen is provided, complete with a refrigerator, freezer, stove, and all necessary utensils). You can order coffee beans. The triple room had high-quality linens, simple but perfectly maintained furniture, comfortable mattresses, a hairdryer, slippers, shampoo, and shower gel. It was warm. We even slept with the window open (it had a mosquito net). The location is also a 10-15-minute drive from a picturesque sandy beach and the Baikal Seal Rehabilitation Center, which we thoroughly enjoyed visiting. We thank the hotel staff for everything they do! Management, keep such a great team going.
